Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Examine the mechanisms of action of anti-VEGF agents and other antiangiogenic medical therapies used in ophthalmic practice for the treatment of retinal disease.
• Compare available evidence describing the efficacy and limitations of monotherapy versus combination therapy for the management of vision-threatening retinal diseases.
