Description :
The management of non-small cell lung cancer has undergone a major transformation in the last three years driven by the increasing use of immunotherapy as well as local ablative therapies in advanced-stage disease.  Translation of these practices into community-based settings is important as overall survival in lung cancer has dramatically improved with the incorporation of improved treatment.  This educational activity will help participants to better apply new treatment strategies so that patient outcomes can be enhanced.

Learning Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:
• Apply the increasing role of radiotherapy in advanced-stage lung cancer.
• Describe the instances when radiotherapy for the advanced-stage disease is not indicated
