This lecture is designed to enhance the knowledge of our faculty, fellows, residents, and clinical staff with exposure to the latest research and clinical developments in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. One-third of babies are born by cesarean delivery and there are several surgical techniques.
Objectives:
At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
- List 3 commonly performed procedures during cesarean delivery that are no longer recommended based on medical evidence.
- Discuss 3 differences between the Joel-Cohen and Pfannenstiel incisions.
