This program is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologist.

Course Description:
This course is designed to improve business acumen in interventional radiology practices by increasing the learner's knowledge in the billing process and focuses on the terminology needed to understand the coding and billing, the process of revenue capture from referral to billing claim, and the steps to maximize revenue capture at each step of the IR's practice. The presentations in the on-demand activity were originally presented at the SIR 2018 Fellows Spring Practicum and includes the following:

• How does value of your work get determined?
• You received the referral. What needs to happen?
• You've done the case. Now what?
• The billing company has received the information. How long and how much will we get paid?

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this on-demand activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe the process and details involved in billing.
• Recognize ways to appropriately capture revenue for their interventional work.
• Explain the value of referrals.
