Course content
Five structured modules in integrative TCM education.
Module 01
Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics
Review the structural and functional principles required for responsible hands-on practice. Connect anatomy, movement and tissue behaviour with the techniques introduced later in the programme.
Module 02
Acupuncture Foundations I
Explore the historical and philosophical foundations of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, including introductory terminology, core concepts and traditional frameworks.
Module 03
Acupuncture Foundations II
Extend the introductory material through meridian theory, point relationships and broader clinical context. This module is educational and does not independently authorise acupuncture practice.
Module 04
Gua Sha
Examine Gua Sha tools, preparation, positioning, treatment direction, pressure, tissue response, contraindications and ways the technique may be considered within qualified professional practice.
Module 05
Traditional Fire Cupping
Explore the principles and practical context of fire cupping, including equipment preparation, controlled application, cup placement, skin response, aftercare and risk management.
