Description:
Pain management requires a multidisciplinary approach that integrates conventional and complementary therapies to improve patient outcomes. This course explores evidence-based integrative modalities for pain relief, including chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, acupuncture, herbal medicine, movement therapy (Pilates), and nutrition.
Participants will review the latest research on how manual therapies, exercise, and botanical interventions influence pain perception and modulation. The session will also focus on implementing integrative strategies into clinical practice to create personalized, multimodal pain management plans.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Discuss multidisciplinary approaches to pain management.
- Review the latest evidence on multiple modalities for pain relief, including chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, minerals, and herbs
- Implement evidence-based integrative modalities for pain management in clinical practice.
