Today's learners are diverse consumers. Our job is to engage, teach and mentor those who have different learning styles, different generational expectations, and short attention spans. How do you best teach those with diverse backgrounds and experience levels? We must adapt our teaching to reach the variety of learners including the iGen, Millennials, and Gen X ers.

Learning Outcomes:

• Discuss four types of learner engagement and how this relates to adult education.
• Utilize a model to plan effective teaching methods for the three major learning styles.
