Information for Pharmacists: Counseling on Dermatologic Conditions is organized by Pharmacy Times Continuing Education (PTCE) and will be held during May 10, 2017 - May 10, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is Pharmacists. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1 CE Credit.
Conference Overview :
This activity will provide information on common dermatologic conditions, such as psoriasis, eczema, xerosis, seborrheic dermatitis, and rosacea, and how proper treatment can make a positive impact on a patient’s quality of life. Pathophysiology and treatment options will be explored, as well as the role of the pharmacist in making clinical recommendations.
Conference Objectives :
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
• Determine the impact that common dermatologic conditions have on a patient’s quality of life and review the underlying pathophysiology of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, xerosis, seborrheic dermatitis, and rosacea
• Compare and contrast the common dermatologic conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, xerosis, seborrheic dermatitis, and rosacea
• Identify the role of the pharmacist as a patient education resource capable of making clinical recommendations about self-care, treatment options, and the importance of therapy to optimize outcomes in patients with dermatologic diseases
