Improving the Management of Severe Asthma in Patients with Type 2 Inflammation is organized by RealCME and will be held from Feb 28, 2019 - Feb 28, 2020.

Primary Audience:
Primary care physicians, NPs, PAs, and other clinicians who care for patients with asthma.

Objectives:
• Describe the role of Type 2 inflammation in asthma pathophysiology and the phenotypic and endotypic characterization of asthma with Type 2 inflammation.
• Review the mechanism of action, efficacy, and safety of targeted agents approved for the management of severe, uncontrolled asthma with Type 2 inflammation and those in late-stage development.
• Incorporate agents targeted at Type 2 inflammation into the management of appropriate patients with severe, uncontrolled asthma not responding to ICS and bronchodilator therapy.
