Course Description:
For older patients with osteoporosis, physical activity and fall prevention are important elements of the treatment plan.  Learn how to assess and establish an exercise prescription that is effective and safe for the patient with osteoporosis with and without fractures.  Maximize patient independence and safety with fall prevention measures.

Learning Objectives:
• Implement appropriate assessment techniques for the patient with osteoporosis
• Discuss the elements of the exercise prescription
• Implement safety measures to prevent fractures during exercise
