Heart failure is common in the United States, affecting about 6.5 million adults. This activity will examine considerations for the management of patients with heart failure in the primary care setting.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Utilize evidence-based recommendations to develop individualized management strategies for patients with chronic HF.
• Recognize the importance of managing comorbidities, including heart rate control, in the management of patients with chronic HF.
• Utilize evidence-based recommendations to develop individualized management strategies for patients with acute HF.
