Goal:
To educate pharmacists in hospital/health-systems and oncology practice settings on the use of immunoglobulin G products in secondary immunodeficiency and the differences in immunoglobulin G product characteristics, safety, administration, and appropriate uses.

Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner will be better able to:
• Identify a patient’s secondary immunodeficiency (SID) status based on serum levels of immunoglobulin G (IgG)
• Explain the association of various diseases and drugs with SID
• Describe efficacy outcomes when IgG is used in patients with SID
• Outline the recommended dosages and routes of administration for use of IgG in SID
• Recommend an appropriate IgG product for a specific patient or formulary based on indication, risk for adverse events, and goals of therapy
• Describe modified dosing weights used in intravenous IgG treatment of patients with SID
