IHELP 2015 Helps You Help the people you serve more effectively. For over three decades, the Annual Summer School for Helping Professionals (ASSHP) consistently offered programs and leadership that has enhanced the personal and professional development of Iowa’s helping professionals. In response to the changing environment in which professionals need to sustain their credentials, ASSHP converted from a summer school format with academic credit to The UI Helping Professionals Workshops (IHELP). The IHELP workshops offer CEU-credit classes for community, agency, and education practitioners working with or interested in helping individuals, groups, families, and organizations. In 2015 for the first time, IHELP will be held in Des Moines, Iowa City and on the web making it more accessible for helping professionals to earn their CEUs across the state and beyond. For your convenience Professional Workshops will be held from May through September
