OVERVIEW

Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia : More Than a Nosebleed is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held during Feb 08, 2016 - Feb 07, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT) has a disease incidence similar to cystic fibrosis, but is much less well known. Dr. Justin McWilliams provides an overview of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of HHT.

Conference Objectives are :
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Diagnose a patient with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
• Manage the patient with HHT and nose bleeds.
• Appropriately screen patients with HHT for stroke, lung AVM’s, and other serious outcomes.
