Course Description :
In his preface to the third edition of Atlas of Head and Neck Pathology (Elsevier, 2016), Dr. Bruce Wenig describes the updated, comprehensive survey of head and neck pathology contained within its pages, and remarks “relative to compiling a book such as this one, the advances in molecular pathology are akin to a moving target with near weekly publications that provide new information and/or information that renders previous knowledge relative to a given disease essentially moot.”

The way we learn has changed. Textbooks and journals are now supplemented by interactive processes that transfer current information expediently. Delivery of new information, curated by experts, on demand, in real time, digitally by mobile devices or social media makes constant updates available. Interactive Microscopy at the unique USCAP Interactive Learning Center provides the opportunity for personalized education in an intimate mentoring environment, simulating clinical sign-out. This course, organized by Dr. Wenig, uniting experts in head and neck / endocrine pathology, will transform your approach to selected lesions and fill practice/knowledge gaps. Think of it as a professional holiday gift to your learning curve.

Course Objectives are :
• Discuss and show the morphology of the new/updated classification for keratinizing epithelial dysplasias.
• Describe features shared by salivary gland neoplasms and detail the utility of immunohistochemistry and/or molecular analysis in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
