Hair Loss...2022 is organized by Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA).
Description:
This presentation will discuss a sound approach to the diagnosis and management of the complex subject of hair loss in women, with attention to a strategy for diagnosis and therapy or referral. In addition, the speaker will review the current status of new biological therapies in male androgenetic alopecia.
Objectives:
- Describe Ludwig Female Pattern Hair Loss
- Contrast and compare the evolutionary epidemiology of male and female patterned hair loss.
- Describe an algorithm for evaluation & women with hair loss
- Outline the key components of the differential diagnosis in suspected FPHL
