• Summarize the short- and long-term clinical, psychosocial, and economic consequences of chronic kidney disease (CKD)-related growth failure in pediatric patients
• Describe how the multifactorial etiology of growth failure in CKD (eg, metabolic, nutritional, disturbances in growth hormone–insulin-like growth factor axis) impacts treatment decisions
• Identify plan strategies to address provider and patient barriers to the successful management of CKD-related growth failure in children
• Apply current and emerging evidence and available guidance on the use of rhGH in pediatric patients with CKD-related growth failure to plan benefit discussions and review
