Course Description:
Join Gerald Montano, DO, MS, of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, for this presentation. We will provide the basic tools the primary care clinician needs to work with transgender and gender non-binary youth and their families. Attendees will learn about the complexity of gender identity and expression, appreciate the vulnerabilities these populations face, and develop the tools to make their clinic a friendly and welcoming place.
