This course provides a plethora of information about Caring for Cancer Patients; Cancer Rehabilitation and the role of the rehabilitation nurse. Training includes major cancer treatments, treatment-related effects, detailed cancer rehabilitation information, dual screening and assessment, and interventions.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify the primary cancer treatments associated with physical and psychosocial effects
• Discuss the importance of and methods for conducting dual screening and assessment of cancer survivors
• Describe common cancer treatment-related effects experienced by survivors.
• Discuss interventions that rehabilitation nurses can employ to address common cancer treatment-related effects.
