Description:
This course includes one recorded video and two Behavioral Scenarios. You will need to review all of this course content, then receive a 70% or higher passing grade on a quiz, and lastly complete an evaluation to receive your certificate and complete this course. You will have access to this course for 1 year, starting on the purchase date.

Rehabilitation services are provided in a variety of settings that include anywhere the client participates in life. For each setting, this course will help you identify client criteria for admission, goals to be achieved, and services provided. The course include two Behavioral Scenarios which will elevate your rehabilitation care planning skills.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify settings where rehabilitation services are provided
• For each setting, identify client criteria for admission, goals to be achieved, services provided, and issues regarding available funding
• Discuss problems that interfere with continuity of care when a client moves between settings
• Discuss the role of the rehabilitation nurse in preventing or resolving problems related to the continuity of care
• Implement an Interprofessional Holistic Plan of Care
• Contribute to the interprofessional team in establishing patient-centered goals
• Identify client problems that need care planning
• Implement the interventions established in the interprofessional plan of care
• Evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions in the interprofessional plan of care
• Promote accountability for care
• Deliver safe, ethical, quality care for the client and family
• Demonstrate awareness of how client’/staff variables affect the quality of the process of the unit
