• Primary Care Physician who is beginning or planning to integrate buprenorphine for the treatment of opioid dependence into their practice.
• Associated health professionals who work in a setting that treats opioid-dependent patients.

Overview:
The second in a series of 12 monthly webinars designed to support the implementation of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in primary care. This webinar will review the role nurses can play in building a team-based model, assisting waivered primary care physicians to provide high-quality care, supporting the complex needs of patients with substance use disorder and the expansion of treatment. Elements that will be covered will include: clinical care, coordination of services among team-members, regulatory compliance, office workflow

• Understand and discuss the advantages of a collaborative care model for OBOT expansion utilizing nurse care managers in FQHC
• Understand the role of nurses in the integration of OBOT in outpatient settings.
