• Explain the science of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride (PHMB) antimicrobial and compare and contrast from other antimicrobials in treating chronic wounds
• Review the role of PHMB antimicrobial in managing bioburden and halting the progression from a colonized to a critically colonized wound environment
• Explore cases surrounding the use of collagen and PHMB antimicrobial in combination with adjunctive therapy in the management of chronic wounds
