This course will serve as a review and update on Webinar, the second in this educational series, Drs. David Wyles and Rajender Reddy discuss the evolution of treatment for hepatitis C virus (HCV) from interferon-based therapies to the new direct-acting antiviral regimens, which offer shorter treatment durations, improved tolerability, and high cure rates. This activity also highlights common challenges rural clinicians face when caring for patients with HCV infection and provides a forum for discussing solutions.
