OVERVIEW

Evaluation and Conservative Treatment of Back and Spine Pain is organized by New England Baptist Hospital (NEBH) and will be held from Aug 01, 2018 - Aug 01, 2021. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Target Audience:
This educational program is designed for physicians, fellows, residents, and other health professionals interested in expanding their knowledge base and expertise in the evaluation and treatment of back, neck and spine pain.

Conference Description:
Lower back pain is one of the most common complaints from patients today and is often chronic.  In this series, New England Baptist Hospital Physiatrists James Rainville, MD and Carol Hartigan, MD discuss the science of back pain and conservative treatment options including the use of narcotics and spinal injections.

Learning Objectives:
• General overview of the anatomy of the back and spine
• Understanding the causes of back and spine pain
• Evaluation and conservative treatment options for degenerative back and spine disease
• Effective use of opiates and injections for treatment of back and spine pain
