Course Description:
ED, what does the term really mean? ED is generally misunderstood, misstated, and inappropriately employed to denigrate any utilization of estrogen. This CME webcast will analyze EBM that presents credence for the use of estrogen and the advantage in protecting against heart disease and breast cancer, not cause it. I will use the medical literature to illustrate the significance of the use of estrogen to TREAT estrogen intolerance, which is a completely over-utilized and incorrectly utilized term that should be eliminated in place of a more appropriate term: IR.
