Escaping the Fat Trap : Advances in Endoscopic Bariatric Therapy is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held during Jan 03, 2017 - Jan 02, 2018. It is well recognized that obesity is a major health problem in the United States as well as other developed countries with rising prevalence leading to an increase in obesity related health complications. Dr. Rabindra Watson presents new advances in endoscopic bariatric therapy that may help in the fight against obesity.
Conference Objectives are :
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Refer appropriate patients for consideration for EBT.
• Counsel patients on the risks and benefits of EBT in the treatment of obesity and obesity related complications.
• Demonstrate understanding of the different categories of EBT.
