• Mammography technologists
• X-ray technologists interested in mammography

Credits:
This program provides 2.25 hours of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic technologists approved by ASRT and recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. Category A credit is also recognized by CAMRT’s Continuing Education Credit Approval Program for CE credit in Canada. You must attend the entire program to receive your certificate of completion.

Are you having a difficult time understanding the EQUIP program? If so, this webinar will provide you with information that will help you prepare and implement your EQUIP program.

The primary goal of the Mammography Quality Standards ACT (MQSA) is clinical image quality, and using the eight image quality attributes for clinical image review. Certified mammography facilities must continue to comply with the standards for clinical image quality according to mammography accrediting bodies.

Educational Objectives:
At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
• Discuss performance of the CC and MLO views, and the variances in positioning techniques among technologists.
• Evaluate CC and MLO clinical images for radiographic landmarks.
• Assess patients presenting with wide range of body habitus, breast tissue composition, and diagnostic problems, and determine the most efficient way to achieve quality images.
• Demonstrate techniques to evaluate clinical images and assessment techniques.
