OVERVIEW

Epilepsy Surgery is organized by Cleveland Clinic Foundation and would be held during Sep 15, 2016 - Sep 15, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event for adult and pediatric epileptologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, family practitioners, internists, and nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents and fellows who treat pediatric and adult epilepsy patients. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 2.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Objectives are :
• Create opportunities for successful re-operation after incomplete transsective hemispherectomy.
• Expand surgical options for patients with complicated refractory focal epilepsy, through informed use of advanced invasive monitoring techniques.
• Identify candidates for early epilepsy surgery to minimize lifetime seizure burden and health care utilization.
