Course Description:
This CME activity consists of the ASGE video, Endoscopic Papillectomy for Tumors of the Major Duodenal Papilla (DV038), followed by a post-assessment and evaluation.

This video provides a comprehensive spectrum of ampullary neoplasms of the papilla of Vater with detailed video footage of endoscopic resection techniques. Featured in the video are several endoscopic papillary excision methods, their indications, important caveats in pre-excision evaluation, technical issues pertinent to endoscopic excision, follow up imaging, and complications of endoscopic papillectomy.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of completing this activity, physicians will be able to:
• Identify some indications and contraindications to endoscopic ampullectomy.
• Describe the management of residual lateral adenoma following ampullectomy.
• Determine the initial follow-up schedule for patients subsequent to endoscopic ampullectomy.
