Description:
The course aims to give practicing dentists knowledge about modern endodontics and how research has given us opportunities to make our treatments more efficient and easier. The course also deals with the outcomes of endodontic therapy and the importance of asepsis and antisepsis for the outcome.
The course divides endodontic treatments into three groups: vital teeth, non-vital teeth, and retreatments as these different areas often must be approached in different ways. Advice regarding the use of instruments and medications is given to make life easier for the practicing dentist without lowering the quality of treatment. Dr. Hasselgren has no affiliation with any manufacturer and no economic interest in any of the mentioned products.
Objectives:
After this course the practicing clinician will be able to:
• Select different treatment forms for vital teeth;
• Efficiently deal with patients with pain of endodontic origin;
• Evaluate previously root-filled teeth;
• Treat endodontic patients using proper aseptic techniques;
• Restore a root-filled tooth;
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
