What is the significance of 2020 Duke Transplant Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Bootcamp?

Course Overview:
The Duke Transplant Advanced Practice Providers Bootcamp is a pre-summit (Solid Organ Transplant Summit) meeting for NP’s and PA’s in the field of solid organ transplantation. This intensive educational program is designed to facilitate the APP’s role in the management of transplant patients. The event will provide updates on current protocols, introduce new and exciting topics in the transplant community, and discuss the projects that transplant APP's are involved in nation-wide. The VIRTUAL program will include sessions applicable to all solid organ transplant providers and breakout sessions to focus on abdominal, lung, and heart transplants.

Solid organ transplantation is an ever changing and complex specialty of medicine.
