Do you see What I See: Introduction to Radiology is organized by Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education (NPACE).

Description:
This session will provide the NP with a strong foundation on radiological interpretation. Topics will include a strong CXR review with normal and abnormal findings. The review of skeletal imaging including mild to moderate trauma and degenerate will be covered. The emphasis will be on adult patients but some pediatric aspects will be discussed.

Learning Objectives:
After taking part in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify when/how to order radiographs
  • Develop organized process to evaluate x-rays
  • Evaluate normal vs. abnormal finding in x-rays
