The issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in medical schools, as well as the challenges that lie ahead, will be the primary focus of this session.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, learners will be able to...
• Discuss the trends of diversity and inclusion among medical school matriculants in the US.
• List steps taken by medical schools to address issues of equity.
• Develop a brief action plan for enhancing diversity and inclusion in one's own sphere of influence.
