Disruptive Healing: Integrating the Feminine in Medicine is organized by Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine (AIHM)
Expired Date:
This course is CME-eligible ending on October 31,2024.
Description:
Is there a "magic bullet" to foster powerful healing responses? In this presentation, Dr. Jain will review the role of consciousness in the healing process, juxtaposing evidence-based findings on ancient and modern holistic healing practices, placebo, biofield science and psychoneuroimmunology, alongside mainstream thinking about how healing works. Through exploring cutting edge empirical data as well as ancient perspectives on healing, participants will question whether the biggest disruptor leading to globally effective medicine will necessitate an entirely different understanding and approach to how healing works - one that truly integrates both masculine and feminine approaches to the study of and approach to, healing.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the course, learners will be able to...
• Describe two peer-reviewed published studies of RCTs on biofield healing approaches in cancer patients.
• Explain five placebo elements and the relevance to the healing process.
• Define the role of consciousness in the healing process.
