OVERVIEW

Diagnosis of Pediatric Allergic Asthma is organized by Medical Communications Media (MCM) Education and will be held during Jan 26, 2018 - Jan 26, 2019.

The target audience for this medical event is designed for allergists, pulmonologists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, and other clinicians involved in the diagnosis and management of allergic asthma in pediatric patients. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

Course Description :
In the United States, 8.6% of children (approximately 6.3 million) have asthma, and ~80% of these children have allergic asthma. This activity will review the epidemiology of pediatric allergic asthma and outline strategies for diagnosis, assessment of severity, and initial therapy.

Learning Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Recognize the approach to the diagnosis of allergic asthma
• Discuss approaches to individualized management of pediatric patients with allergic asthma
