OVERVIEW

Debate: Navigation for Hips is organized by Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and will be held from May 29, 2018 - May 29, 2020. This activity is targeted to orthopedic surgeons. Physician assistants, physical therapists, residents, fellows, and medical students may benefit from attending this activity.

Overview:
This course reviews the pros and cons for use of navigation in hip replacement, describes the different navigation techniques and weighs the costs versus the benefits of these techniques.

Learning Objectives:
Hospital for Special Surgery professional education activities is intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the conclusion of this course, the participant should be able to debate the pros and cons for use of navigation in hip replacement, describe the different navigation techniques and weigh the costs versus the benefits of these techniques, and be able to determine whether to use navigation based on these factors.
