OVERVIEW

Cystic Lung Disease and Lessons Learned From Surgical Lung Biopsies: Case Studies is organized by Opus Medicus, Inc. and will be held during May 11, 2017 - May 10, 2020. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
This case-based didactic series uses individual cases to exemplify the role of Pathologists in classifying diffuse lung disease for affected patients and in a more general sense.

• Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (Eosinophilic Granuloma).
• Causes of cystic lung lesions.
• Pulmonary MALT lymphoma and non-amyloid light chain deposition.
• Rare causes of "cystic" lung metastases.

• The clinical and histologic features of lymphangiomyomatosis.
• The clinical and histologic features of pulmonary Langerhans cell Histiocytosis.
• The radiologic differential diagnosis of "cystic lung disease".
