Description:
This is a 6-hour recorded webinar for health care professionals who are committed to restoring the health of their patients and who wish to gain clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. Learning Objectives:

1. Learn how to identify and track the various types of cervical mucus produced during the menstrual cycle.
2. Participants will be able to identify:
   – the fertile window
   – the cause of irregular cycles
   – luteal phase defects, ovarian cysts, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS
   – commonly undiagnosed conditions, such as Luteinized Unruptured Follicles (LUF)
   – how to postpone pregnancy during breastfeeding
   – hormonal milieu for autoimmune conditions and epilepsy
   – prevent pre-term birth and miscarriage
3. Learn how to identify the ideal time for serum and functional hormone testing.
   – how to time blood tests, and ultrasounds in sync with the woman’s cycle
   – how to prescribe bioidentical hormone therapy correlated to initial blood levels, and follow-up protocols
4. Learn naturopathic, botanical and pharmaceutical treatments to optimize hormonal balance and fertility, including bioidentical progesterone, DHEA, antibiotics, aspirin, and off-label uses for low dose naltrexone, hCG (for men and women), Clomiphene sulphate, Letrozole, amphetamines, and thyroid hormone replacement therapy (all timed in co-operation with the woman’s individual cycle)
5. Gain a deeper understanding of TCM concepts in relation to fertility charting, timing of acupuncture in the course of a cycle, TCM herbs for both pre- and post-ovulatory phases and update on research in IVF Acupuncture.
