CT Assessment of Vertebral Bone Quality Prior to Spinal Surgery is organized by International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).

Activity Description:
This activity was designed so attendees would receive an advanced overview of how to assess vertebral attenuation with a reanalysis of previously acquired CTs that included the area of the lumbar spine (opportunistic CT).

Learning Objectives:
1. Identify the utility of using vertebral radiation attenuation by CT in assessing skeletal integrity
2. Learn how to measure vertebral HU attenuation
3. Understand what the effects of changes in the technique of measuring vertebral HU attenuation are
