Cross-Sectional Anatomy for MRI and CT - Extremities is organized by Medical Technology Management Institute (MTMI) and will be held on Oct 17, 2019.

Audience:
For both experienced and new CT and MRI technologists.

Credits:
This program provides 3 hours of Category A continuing education credit for radiologic technologists approved by ASRT and recognized by the ARRT and various licensure states. Category A credit is also recognized by CAMRT’s Continuing Education Credit Approval Program for CE credit in Canada. You must attend the entire program to receive your certificate of completion.

Overview:
These webinars are ideal for both seasoned and new CT and MRI technologists, who want to enhance their cross-sectional skills. You will learn how to sharpen your ability to identify anatomy in various imaging planes.

Through the use of case studies, participants will be able to describe potential pathology of the extremities, as well as identify anatomic structures of the shoulder and hip joints. Architecture of the upper and lower arm and leg will also be discussed. Knowledge of post-processing and special procedures are vital for CT and MRI technologists working in the field, as these skills make them a valuable part of the healthcare team.

Educational Objectives:
At the completion of the Extremities webinar, participants will be able to:
• List the structures of the upper and lower extremities.
• Describe the different pathological processes that can occur in the extremities.
• Identify procedures in which contrast agents may be utilized, along with contraindications for its use.
