Creating the Conditions for Continuous Improvement: How Leadership, Collaboration, and Technology Drive Sustainable Change is organized by Lippincott CME Connection.

Description:
Healthcare organizations face a convergence of pressures that no single policy change, technology investment, or workforce tactic can resolve in isolation. Financial constraints, workforce strains, care access complexity, technology disruption and AI adoption, and changing payment models and regulatory volatility are interdependent forces shaping organizational performance. When healthcare systems operate under sustained pressure, new policies, and technologies rarely function as isolated improvements. Instead, they intersect with existing operational, workforce, and governance constraints, often magnifying variation and risk and the need for rework rather than enabling performance improvement. In healthcare, these breakdowns converge at the point of quality and safety where strategy becomes execution. Healthcare quality, patient safety and financial performance will improve if healthcare leaders identify a root cause for deficiencies: sub-optimal quality management systems and lack of workforce competencies to systematically activate and elevate quality and safety.
This program offers healthcare leaders a practical guide for how workforce preparedness in quality and safety, defined by shared competencies, becomes a strategic tool to help organizations modernize their workforce, build organizational capabilities, stabilize performance, and sustain improvement in an increasingly complex environment.
