Our half-day online course is a comprehensive, relevant and pragmatic update on contraception and female sexual health issues in primary care.
What we cover:
- Emergency contraception and quick-starting
- What’s new in the world of contraception: LARC and Intrauterine system update, progestogen only pills, Combined hormonal contraception, injectables
- Medical problems, drugs and contraceptive choices
- Contraception in women with a history of migraine
- Approaching bleeding issues on contraception
- Investigation and management of vaginal discharge – including bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas, candida and infections
- Acute pelvic pain and pelvic inflammatory disease
- ‘Bad sex’ - dyspareunia and psychosexual issues.
