Description:
Expand your knowledge of different types of connected health now available for home dialysis therapy from a nephrologist, nurse and home dialysis patient. Learn of potential advantages and disadvantages of the use of connected health for home therapy management in your practice. Practical examples of instituting and managing the required technology for connected health will be explored.

Learning Objectives:
After participation in this activity, learners will be better able to:
• Identify three different types of connected health systems, and the data sets associated with each
• Evaluate three benefits of daily connected health data transmission to enhance home dialysis care
• Interpret how use of daily connected health data could have a negative impact in managing care of a new home dialysis patient
