Target Audience:
This educational program is directed toward medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and radiation oncologists interested in liquid biopsies in the treatment of cancer. Nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with cancer are also invited to participate.

Activity Overview:
Community Practice Connections™: Medical Crossfire®: How to Use Liquid Biopsies in Oncology Care provides concise summaries and expert commentary on key clinical studies integrating liquid-based testing in patients with solid tumors. This activity includes interactive clinical vignettes and questions related to current and future applications of liquid biopsies, followed by short video interviews with leading experts in the management of patients with cancer. The video interviews address decision points in the clinical vignettes, as well as questions related to the rapidly developing field of liquid biopsies in oncology.

Learning Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this educational activity, you should be better prepared to:
• Evaluate the key differences between liquid biopsy and conventional tissue biopsy
• Discuss the capabilities of currently available liquid biopsy technologies
• Analyze the utility of liquid biopsies for different cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and GI cancers
• Describe available clinical evidence on specific testing modalities that may help to individualize treatment protocols for patients with cancer.
