Objective(s)
As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: Discuss the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of common skin and soft tissue infections that present to the emergency department; Identify some dangerous, lift-threatening infections that can present, appearing to be more benign conditions; Know the common organisms and antibiotics for most skin and soft tissue infections; and Understand when to use advanced imaging and surgical consultation for severe infections.
