Description:
Recognizing the skin rash is paramount to treating it. New treatments abound for several common dermatoses and paradigms are shifting. Join us in reviewing some common dermatological diagnoses and their mimickers and how best to treat them.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and treat non-scarring hair loss in men and women
  • Discuss recent treatment advances in psoriasis and atopic dermatitis
  • Recognize the morbilliform drug rash, and compare it with Stevens-Johnson Syndrome and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
  • Narrow a differential diagnosis of common skin conditions based on salient morphology
