Course Description:
Co-diagnosis is an approach to case presentation and treatment planning that allows the patient to share in the decision-making process. In this team meeting, Dr. Dichter explains how integrating patient education videos into the exam helps make patients aware of their problem, the consequences of their problem and the benefits of treatment; ultimately leading them to make effective and informed decisions about the health of their mouth.
