This course is the second in a series of lectures designed to provide clinicians with focused lectures on the topic of clinical hormone use giving them information on hormone testing, general hormone issues, and specifics of men’s and women’s HRT. This set of lectures is a prerequisite and considered the first part of the full-day live session advanced hormone workshop: focus on estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, and DHEA which will be held in November 2020 in Dallas, texas. Speakers will discuss the optimization of hormone levels within the context of age management medicine using providing evidence in the form of cases, studies, and references to support their materials.
Learning Objectives:
• Summarize the legal medical use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in its medical use.
• Discuss essential scientific information for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in patients with diagnosed deficiencies and explain how to clinically apply this knowledge in your practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Discuss essential scientific information for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone in patients in other areas of medical use such as unique female issues, male issues, and sexual dysfunction, and explain how to clinically apply this knowledge in your practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Summarize indications and contraindications for the use of Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone.
