Overview:
World Obesity Federation data shows that globally, more than 223 million schoolchildren have excess weight or are affected by the disease of obesity. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 18% of children and 21% of adolescents in the U.S. have excess weight or obesity. Rates of obesity in the U.S. have doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years. This package provides education on treating pediatric patients affected by overweight and obesity.
