This module is the sixth of 6 modules in the Clinical Dietetics for Bariatric Surgery Evergreen course. The aim of this module is to provide an understanding of the different non-surgical modalities available to the bariatric surgery candidate.
Learning Outcomes:
- Explain the theoretical and practical aspects of non-surgical and combined bariatric therapies and interpret their implications for pre- and post-operative medical nutrition therapy
- Build confidence in providing individualized and culturally relevant medical nutrition therapy as part of a multi-disciplinary team for patients electing non-surgical and combined bariatric therapies
